The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has once again given an opportunity to students who missed the initial placement into the Kenya Medical Training Colleges (KMTC).
Yesterday, Sunday, March 29, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service in a notice listed 21 medical courses that are available for revision. This is a second chance that has been granted to Kenyan students who wish to join medical colleges to pursue their medical careers.
In the notice, the placement body stated that this opportunity is for those who missed placement in the initial window due to various logistical reasons.
It should be noted that the placement agency, KUCCPS had opened the application window into 31 KMTC course for students who scored between D plain and C plain in KCSE on 3 March, 2026. This application window closed on 13, March.
In its lastest announce, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service has broadened the eligibility of candidates to include those who sat for KCSE from the year 2000 all the way to 2025. It should be noted that this window is open only for form four leavers.
The placement body has therefore invited students who might have missed the initial opportunity to also compete fairly with others for the available slots in Medical colleges across the country.
The placement agency has set April 3, 2026 to be the deadline for application and students are encouraged to submit their applications through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service, KUCCPS students portal.
